The European College of Porcine Health Management will offer Young Person’s Bursaries to six presenting authors of accepted abstracts (poster or oral presentation) for young pig veterinarians (scientists, practitioners, etc.) aged 35 years or less.
The application is open to all European citizens. However, in case there are more applications than bursaries, priority will be given to citizens of Emerging and Developing Economies in Central and Eastern Europe as stated in the International Monetary Fund website (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Turkey).
The bursary will be 800 EUR per person.
Application instructions and obligatory documentation
The name and affiliations of the applicant must match the name and affiliations of a presenting author that has submitted his/her abstract (research study, case report, etc.) before the submission deadline!
The applicant also has to be physically present at the Symposium (personal registration at registration desk obligatory)
The following obligatory documentation shall be provided:

Proof of age (clear copy of ID, passport indicating date of birth in Modern Latin Alphabet)

Proof of being active as pig veterinarian (researcher, practitioners, …) providing an updated curriculum vitae (max 2 pages)
- A signed attest in which the applicant confirms that he/she is not being sponsored or covered by any other financial source in order to attend the ESPHM symposium
