The European Symposium of Porcine Health Management – ESPHM®

is an annual meeting of Diplomates and Residents of the European College of Porcine Health Management (ECPHM) and other colleagues interested in the field of porcine health management. The ESPHM® is a protected trademark (No 018126998) owned by the ECPHM Ltd.

Aims and Scope

The purpose of each ESPHM is to provide a platform for scientific exchange & fruitful discussion between attendees, an opportunity of individual continuous professional development and a chance of extending the personal & professional network. The symposium is combined with the Annual General Meetings of the ECPHM. Apart from the closed ECPHM meeting, the symposium is open to all veterinarians and non-veterinarians interested in PHM, who have successfully registered for the meeting. In order to attract potential attendees from different areas of Europe, the symposium is hosted in varying locations across Europe.

Organization

The ESPHM is jointly organized by the ECPHM in liaison with a Veterinary Practitioner Council (VPC) and a local organizing committee (LOC). The VPC is occupied by additional European veterinary practitioners engaged in the field of Porcine Health Management (e.g. members of the EAPHM or upon nomination). The rules and procedures for organization of the ESPHM are laid down in the ESPHM Handbook. This handbook is available for ECPHM members.
