3rd ECAR / ECPHM Intensive course on Pig Reproduction and Herd Health


Online course, which will take place 1 – 5 March 2021.

Open for residents and diplomats of the ECAR and ECPHM.

The number of participants is restricted to 10-15.


Description | The course will include 20 h of lectures, which are organized in plenary and parallel sessions, 9 h of workshops / demonstrations, and a full-day virtual pig herd visit. Parallel lectures are recorded and available throughout the course. There will be also some pre-course assignments and peer-group work. International teachers from five different countries with expertise in pig reproduction and herd health.

Scope | The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge on pig emerging diseases, reproduction (neonate, sow, boar, and AI aspects), welfare and herd health approach.

Course fee | 350 € (+ VAT)

Registration | Residents will be given priority. Year of residency will be taken into consideration.
